EVs have fewer moving parts and require less maintenance and upkeep. Since there is no combustible engine or transmission, you can say goodbye to oil changes and all the related maintenance that goes along with keeping an engine clean and running smoothly. Even the powerful battery packs in EVs require zero maintenance, and you should expect them to last over ten years. Typical EV maintenance involves brake and tire services and periodic checks for other components to ensure your EV is operating optimally.
EVs have no gas engines, so that you can say goodbye to skyrocketing or unpredictable fuel costs. You could save an equivalent of up to $893 per year on fuel costs.
EVs are powerful and fun to drive, with instant acceleration and a quiet, smooth ride. New Ford EVs are also full of advanced technology for safety and convenience, including BlueCruise hands-free driving and massive infotainment touchscreens to stay seamlessly connected and entertained.
Charging is as easy as recharging any other electronic device with a standard Level I or Level II charger at home. You can stop at a public fast-charging station around Orlando and along all major US highways for quick charging on the go.
Forget what you thought you knew about electric vehicles. See how future-facing Ford battery electric vehicles zap the myths.
Install a Level II home charger and get some money back from your local utility company.
Clean vehicles, including EVs, PHEVs, Inherently Low Emissions Vehicles (ILEVs), and Alternative Fuel Vehicles (AFVs) can get a special tag to drive in the HOV lane even when there is only one passenger.
Certain utility companies provide rebates for new EV purchases

Get to know your all-electric vehicle with these tips for fast and convenient charging.
There are many ways to charge your all-electric vehicle. Here are a few things you should know before plugging in.
Charging at home can be as simple as plugging in, but here are some additional tips on how to enjoy a seamless charging experience.
Ford makes it easy to charge your all-electric vehicle on the go. Here's a quick overview on how to utilize the Blue Ovalâ„¢ Charge Network.

For even quicker charging, you can go with a hardwired charging solution. A licensed electrician can install a dedicated charging station, increasing the rate to around 28 miles of range per hour for Extended range batteries.

The mobile charger that came with your Ford EV can plug into an available 240V outlet (the same type as your dryer) and charge at up to 30 amps, adding approximately 20 miles of range per hour.

For faster battery refills, Ford offers two at-home charging solutions.
*Range and charge time based on manufacturer computer engineering simulations and EPA-estimated range calculation methodology. The charging rate decreases as battery reaches full capacity. Your results may vary based on peak charging times and battery state of charge. Actual vehicle range varies with conditions such as external environment, vehicle use, driving behaviors, vehicle maintenance, lithium-ion battery age and state of health.
**Complimentary 2-year trial begins with EV New Vehicle Limited Warranty start date. Customer will be billed for all fees including but not limited to fees for use of charging stations and any related parking fees.
Charging slowly overnight is practical and convenient for daily use but less so on longer road trips. That's where DC fast charging comes in. Ford EVs are capable of charging at a rate of up to 150 kW, which can add more than 50 miles of range to an extended-range battery in just ~10 minutes. The BlueOval™ network is comprised of more than 111,000 stations (and counting), with numerous examples around the Orlando area. Plus, all new Ford EVs are compatible with the extensive Tesla Supercharger network.

Ford Connected Navigation provides precise directions to your destination, including charging stops. It can even make real-time adjustments to your route to account for your vehicle's current battery status. Or you can use the FordPassâ„¢ app to find the closest charging station. Even better, new Ford EVs come with a complimentary 250 kWh fast charging credit on the Electrify America network.
